Pocket Vape VP 600 Portable Vaporizer Review

The Pocket Vape VP 600 is a small hand held portable vaporizer which utilizes a ceramic heating element with a butane cartridge. The Pocket Vape definitely has a unique look/style to it. Because it has a butane cartridge you have to pull a trigger on the vape and ironically the Pocket Vape itself looks like a clip to a handgun. The Pocket Vape is relatively cheap at $70 from most vendors but has been marred by a bit of inconsistency.

Here’s what you’ll get with the Pocket Vape:

  • Pocket Vape VP-600 Portable Vaporizer
  • Vapor Whip With Glass Mouthpiece
  • Display Box
  • Instruction Manual

The Pocket Vape has a stainless steel bowl with vinyl whip tubing and a glass mouthpiece. I found that there was relatively no heat up time for this vape as well, you basically pull the trigger and hit. The Pocket Vape VP 600 does work well, but only when it actually works. It seemed kind of hit or miss getting it lighted and getting it to stay lit.

What do I like about Pocket Vape VP 600 Portable Herbal Vaporizers?

I liked the feel of the Pocket Vape VP 600, with it’s hand held design and trigger function to light. Some might find the trigger cumbersome but it didn’t really bother me at all. Really this vape is pretty solid when it is working, but like I said it really is hit or miss. I had an extremely hard time getting it to light the first time I used it.

It got easier from there but still it is something you really shouldn’t have to deal with. I don’t want to blame it on them being mass produced in China, but I guess it’s something that should be noted. I mean, it is a decent vaporizer, especially considering it is portable, but I can’t help but feel like it leaves something to be desired.

Ultimately I don’t think I would recommend the Pocket Vape, even though when it works it works well. The price tag is probably what draws most people to it, but you can find much better portable vaporizers for cheaper, let alone the same price.

It could also be possible that the one I received was just a bit defective, but reading other people’s reviews online of the Pocket Vape I saw they ran into the same problems I did most of the time.
